LG BL40 Chocolate Review

The LG BL40 Chocolate is a full cinematic screen handset that offers a range of features, and it does it in style. With the BL40 Chocolate LG you get a phone that’s unlike any other mobile on the market; this phone is elegant, and provides the user with a large, 800 x 345 resolution display. With this screen you get a better viewing experience. Although the BL40 LG Chocolate is longer than most mobile phones, it is still easy to use, and isn’t too much of a hindrance when you stick it in your pocket.

With the large touchscreen that comes with the LG BL40 Chocolate, playing games, viewing web pages, and watching video is easy on the eyes. Some extras that come with the LG Chocolate include 10 preinstalled games, as well as GPS navigation with Google Maps. Along with Assisted GPS, the BL40 also features weather forecasts, as well as trip reports. You even get information about speed cameras and road construction on your route.

For social networking the LG Chocolate BL40 includes applications that give you access to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Some of the multimedia features that are included with this LG handset include a 5-megapixel camera that comes with LED flash and video recording capabilities. Unfortunately, the camera’s photo quality isn’t great, pictures tend to come out a little fuzzy and video is also not the greatest quality.

The audio quality that you get with the LG BL40 Chocolate is fairly good; the speakers sound loud and clear enough that you should have no problem listening to music or watching a movie. The battery is rated for 6 hours of talk time and 16 days of standby time, but with average use you will likely have to recharge the battery about every day or two.

The LG BL40 Chocolate is unquestionably an appealing phone; its stylish design and quality build make it well worth looking at if you are in the market for a new mobile. Of course this phone isn’t really one of those all in one gadget phones, but it is certainly high on fashion and performs well in most areas; though the camera is probably the one feature where the Chocolate BL40 is lacking. Another drawback with this phone is its very high price tag, which could be more than what some people are willing to pay for a mobile.

If you are interested in owning one of the LG Chocolate phones, this handset is a good choice, but perhaps not worth the asking price. You will probably spend a lot less if you take some time and shop around on the Internet for some LG BL40 Chocolate deals.
