Those that are fashion conscious will love the sleek and sexy LG Prada. This is a high fashion phone that not only looks great; it is well built and offers some fantastic features. The LG Prada mobile phones come with a beautiful, 3-inch touchscreen that is very responsive and easy to use. Unfortunately the Prada doesn’t come with 3G support, which is disappointing considering the phone’s price.
Handsets that are considered fashion phones are very popular today, and there is no doubt that the LG Prada fits into this category. When you first lay eyes on the Prada you’ll be amazed at its elegance; in fact, this is likely one of the best looking phones on the market. The LG Prada mobile phones feature a shiny black case and silver accents; this device definitely has a futuristic look that only adds to its attractiveness. One problem that you might have with the Prada is that its glossy finish does tend to attract fingerprints; so keeping it clean tends to be a fulltime job.
With the LG Prada you not only get an attractive phone, but it is also very compact. The Prada measures 2.13 x 3.89 x 0.47 inches and weighs only 3 ounces. This lightweight and slim phone slips right into your pocket or handbag so you can easily take it along wherever you go.
On the front of the LG Prada is a 3-inch touchscreen that supports up to 256,000 colours; viewing text and pictures on this screen is a real treat. As a touchscreen it is very responsive and easy to use, so navigating the menus and sending text messages is easy. Unfortunately you don’t get a virtual QWERTY keyboard with this phone; instead you are limited to a virtual alphanumeric keypad.
Some additional features that come with the LG Prada mobile phones include an address book that will hold up to 1,000 contacts, text and multimedia messaging, email, a calendar, and an alarm clock, as well as a voice recorder. You also get support for Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and a built in FM radio. For those that want to use the Prada for business there is also a document viewer so that you can open attachments in Word and Excel format.
For multimedia features the LG Prada comes with a 2-megapixel camera that includes several different settings for taking photos. In addition to taking still pictures, the camera will also record video. The photo and video quality is about average for a phone camera, but keep in mind that you will need adequate lighting to take pictures, as there is no built in flash.
The multimedia player will support a variety of different audio files, including MP3, but it will only play MP4 video files. Audio and video playback is good, and call quality is also fair. The battery is rated for 3 hours of talk time and 12.5 days of standby.
Although this handset is pricey, you can probably find some great LG Prada deals online if you do some shopping and the compare LG Prada prices from different Internet retailers.
