The LG Viewty is a touchscreen phone that features a nice, 5-megapixel camera that comes with some great features, like auto focus and xenon flash. Aside from the Viewty’s touchscreen and camera, this mobile offers features like video recording, as well as uploads directly to YouTube.

One of the trends in camera phones today is that they tend to look a little bulky, or just plain unattractive, but this isn’t a problem with the Viewty LG, in fact it is probably one of the nicest looking camera phones you’ll find. This phone doesn’t look like a cheap handset at all; its classy look is reminiscent of some of the popular high-end phones.

The touchscreen featured with the LG Viewty is responsive and easy to use. The user interface is much the same as what you get with the Prada; on the home screen are icons in a visually appeasing layout. For sending text messages and email, the Viewty LG comes with an alphabetic keyboard, and dialing is done with a numeric keypad. When sending messages with the Viewty you can also use handwriting input, though you might find is easier to simply type out your messages with the keyboard.

With the included web browser, surfing the Internet is easy; web pages load quickly and you are able to view the full page and zoom in for a close up. Unfortunately, there is no WiFi included with the LG Viewty so unless you have a good data plan, the charges can add up quickly.

Video capturing is great, and with this camcorder you can capture fast moving action and replay it back in slow motion so that you won’t miss a thing. Taking still photographs with the LG Viewty provides some good quality pictures, plus you’ll also get several photo settings so that you can take even better pictures.

Some additional features that come with the Viewty LG include games, a speakerphone, and a music player that supports a number of file formats, including MP3, AAC, WMA, WMV and AMR.

The LG Viewty provides good call quality with audio being loud and clear; video calling is also fairly good. The battery life is okay, but not great; with average use you will likely have to recharge at least once a day.
