Nokia 7210 Supanova Review
The Nokia 7210 Supernova Blue is a lightweight, mid-range phone that offers some of the most popular features at a reasonable price. With this mobile you get a cleanly designed phone that is compact and easy to use; the Nokia 7210 Supernova in blue measures 106 x 45 x 10.6mm and weighs only 70g.
One of the problems that you will quickly discover with the Nokia 7210 Blue is that the keyboard is a little difficult to use; the keys are flat so it isn’t easy to hit the right key, plus it doesn’t seem to be too responsive. If you use your mobile to send a lot of text messages, you could have some problems with this device.
On the front of the blue Nokia 7210 Supernova is a 2-inch screen, which does come with a decent resolution, but it is really too small if you want to use your phone for viewing web pages. The small screen probably won’t make a lot of difference due to the fact that browsing the web with this phone isn’t the best experience, and for this reason it isn’t likely that you’ll want to do this much anyway.
Some of the features that come with the 7210 Supernova Blue include a 2-megapixel camera, though this feature is basic at best. You won’t get auto focus, or flash so photo quality isn’t the best. In addition to taking still photos, the camera will also record video; unfortunately it is only 10fps so you are limited in this as well. For storing files the Nokia 7210 Supernova Blue comes with 30MB of internal memory, though you can expand the memory up to 2GB with a microSD card.
Additional features include a music player, as well as a built in FM radio. The Nokia 7210 blue only comes with a 2.5mm jack for headphones instead of the preferred 3.5mm jack so that you can use your own headphones. You will also get access to mobile email, a voice recorder, calculator, as well as all of the usual personal management tools.
What you won’t get with the Nokia 7210 Supernova Blue is WiFi or GPS; if you want these types of features you will have to upgrade to a higher grade mobile. The battery is rated for 2 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time.
Although you can get the Nokia 7210 Blue at a low cost, it is still a little high priced for the limited features that are included. For around the same price you could probably get another phone that offers more in the way of features.
