The Samsung Jet is an attractive touchscreen phone with the TouchWiz Interface, along with numerous media features, and much more. With this phone you get an upgraded version of TouchWiz, an 800MHz processor, and an updated browser.

One of the first things you’ll notice with the Samsung Jet is how visually appealing this handset is; it features a clean design and glossy finish, along with a beautiful touchscreen. The Jet measures 4.28 x 2.11 x 0.48 and weighs 3.88 ounces; though this phone isn’t the most compact mobile available, it isn’t large enough to make it uncomfortable to use, or take with you.

The touchscreen display that comes with the Samsung Jet measures 3.1-inches, and although this isn’t incredibly large, it is sufficiently big enough for most of the features on this phone.  You will get some innovative features with this handset that you might not expect, such as Speaker Call. Some additional features that come with this phone include a phonebook that will support up to 2,000 contacts, plus you can use photos and videos for Call ID purposes.

Of course you will get personal organizer tools that include a calendar, a world clock and a voice recorder. There is also a feature for PC syncing, as well as Google Search. Connectivity options include WiFi and Bluetooth.

A few of the features that are not included with the Samsung Jet are voice dialing and voice commands, you also won’t get support for instant messaging. Although you do get Assisted GPS, you can only use it with Google Maps.

You do get support for email, including Gmail and Microsoft Exchange Active Sync, plus the Samsung Jet comes with text and multimedia messaging.

For multimedia features the Jet features a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, and a number of photo modes. The photo quality is quite impressive, even when you are taking pictures in dim lighting. In addition to taking still photos, the camera will also record video. Storing your pictures and video is no problem at all, as the Samsung Jet comes with 2GB of internal storage, plus you can expand the memory up to 16GB with a microSD card.

You will also get a very impressive music player that provides quality sound; the Jet also comes with a built in FM radio. Staying entertained is easy with the several preloaded video games that come with the Samsung Jet.

Call quality with the Samsung Jet is great, voices sound natural and clear; the battery rating for this phone is 8 hours of talk time and 17.5 days of standby time.
