Sony Ericsson C903

Sony Ericsson C903 Review
The Sony Ericsson C903 is a Cybershot slider phone that looks great, plus offers tons of features. With this midrange handset you’ll get a 5-megapixel camera, GPS and much more.
Although you won’t get as many features with the C903 Sony Ericsson as you would get with a high-end device, it is still a great phone, plus it is very compact and lightweight. The C903 measures 97 x 49 x 16 mm and weighs only 96g. On the front of this phone is a clear and bright, 2-4-inch screen.
Of course one of the key features of the C903 is its built in 5-megapixel camera, which comes with a number of different photo settings, including zoom, auto focus, face detection and more. The photo quality is good, with bright and beautiful colour and sharp images. With dual LED flash you can also take some fairly good photos at night. In addition to taking still photos, this camera will also record video, though the video quality is not as good as you get when taking pictures.
Some additional features that come with the Sony Ericsson C903 include support for POP3/IMAP4 email, as well as web based email, plus you get text and multimedia messaging. Another useful feature that is included with this mobile is Assisted GPS with Google Maps.
For media features you get good video playback, as well as a fantastic music player that is at least as good as you would get with a Walkman phone. In addition to these media features, the C903 also comes with HSPA for a high-speed Internet connection. Though the included browser does a good job with most sites, if the page has too much flash it tends to lag.
In addition to these features, the Sony Ericsson C903 comes with a YouTube application so that you can easily watch streaming video right from your mobile. Additional features included are Bluetooth, and a voice recorder. There is also a personal organizer that consists of several tools, such as a calendar, an alarm clock and more.
The call quality that you get with the C903 Sony Ericsson is very good; callers come through loud and clear. The battery is rated for 10 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby; this is reduced when using 3G.
There is no doubt that the Sony Ericsson C903 is a great camera phone that is loaded with some nice features, but the lack of WiFi could be a deal breaker for some people. As long as you are not looking for anything too flashy, this handset is a smart choice if you want a camera phone for personal use, as long as you are not expecting the same function you would get with a smartphone.
